hearts_andminds. This is Jareth's Journal, but I am not Jareth and I do not claim to be making money from this. I am also not part of the Jim Henson Corporation.
Jareth is the Goblin King who resides in the castle beyond the Goblin City. He rules one of the Kingdoms of the Underground and is very powerful among his peers. Six years ago he was defeated by Sarah at his own game. He is head over hells in love with Sarah, but he has extreme trouble expressing his emotions well, and with the fact that Sarah has rejected him once before and destroyed his kingdom, he is very silent in that regard. Since Sarah beat his Labyrinth and brought his Castle down around his head he has been rebuilding, but periodically he goes to check up on Sarah, that’s how he lands in Haruvatat. Jareth is a part of the Seelie court, his dark markings rejecting him from the Unseelie court. He is not on Good terms with either ruler, and so was made King of the Goblins.
